Preschool Week! Writing!

Now, I have to warn you. My preschool writing curiculum is very GREEN.

And yes, my tounge is now, possibly permenantly, in my cheek.

But the truth is, I do care about stewardship. It's simply that I believe good stewardship stems from my religion and isn't the whole of it.

If I'd written a post entitled, "It's Not Easy Not Being Budist" (which would be a lousy title for a post), I'm sure no one would jump to the conclusion that I run around killing bugs for fun. And that's probably a terrible example, but the point is that of course I think there are many, many good things about being green. I'm just not interested in an earth-worshipping, future-fretting label.

But I'm also uninterested in wasting money and trees on the insane volume of paper that my many small doodlers would happily fritter.

So, we use chalkboards...

And homemade tracing notebooks!

And we put our worksheets into page protectors to make them reusable too!

How about you? How are you teaching your kids to write?
